Privacy policy

Who we are
This website (www.capelegrandnationalpark.com.au) is an independent unofficial visitor guide. We do not publish a public contact email or contact form. See our contact page for official park channels and site expectations.
What we collect
This site does not run a third-party contact form, email-gated lead form, or public mailbox. We do not intentionally collect personal contact details through this website.
The free day-trip checklist and practical planner (PDF and HTML) are direct downloads — no email is required to access them.
Server & analytics
Standard web server logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) may be collected by the hosting provider for security and operations. We do not currently run a first-party analytics product that builds a named visitor profile. If that changes, this page will say so.
Advertising & affiliates
An ads.txt file is published at the site root (www.capelegrandnationalpark.com.au/ads.txt) declaring this publisher’s Google AdSense identity. That file ships whether or not display ad units are live.
Display ad units are not currently configured on this build. If Google AdSense (or a similar network) is switched on later, it may set cookies and collect usage data per that network’s policies. Ads will be labelled where required. Affiliate partners may also set cookies when you follow outbound links:
- Amazon Associates (Australia) — tracking active on gear-hub searches
- GetYourGuide — tracking active on tour product and search links
- Booking.com via Commission Junction — tracking active on stay searches
Which links are commission-tracked is listed on our affiliate disclosure. Official Explore Parks WA / DBCA fees, Parks Passes and Park Stay bookings are never affiliated.
Overseas processing
Some partners — including Google and international booking or retail platforms — may process data outside Australia. Their privacy policies apply to those services. By using this site you acknowledge this handling where reasonably necessary for site operation and monetisation.
Your choices
Because we do not operate a public inbox on this site, we do not hold a visitor email list from contact forms. We do not sell email addresses. Australian privacy law may give you rights regarding personal information we hold. Routine visitor browsing typically does not create a customer profile on this site. For AdSense and affiliate partners, use those providers’ own privacy tools and controls.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
Privacy policy context and official park routing: contact page (no public email). For official park personal-data matters, use DBCA / Explore Parks WA channels — not this unofficial guide.
